Bouse Fire is seeking motivated individuals to join our team. If you are an Emergency Medical Responder, an EMT-Basic or Advanced; or a Paramedic, regardless if you have a firefighting certification or not, we can help you earn some easy money.
A volunteer may request to be scheduled more hours than the maximum monthly compensated amount.
Due to federal requirements which stipulate that a volunteer has to volunteer hours as well, each certification level will be rounded up to the next closest 12 hour increment beyond the maximum compensated hours. Example: A EMR maxing out would volunteer 96 hours and a Paramedic maxing out would volunteer 84 hours.
Interested persons should contact Chief Rather or Vonnie Harmon.
We are excited to welcome our new Fire Chief, Chase Rather to the Bouse Volunteer Fire District family.
Chase currently lives in the town of Parker with his spouse Ashley and their new beautiful daughter Avery. As a child Chase spent a lot of time in and around the Parker Fire station with his father, who served as a member and eventually Fire Chief.
In 2011, at the age of 18, Chase joined Parker Fire as a probationary firefighter. Over the years Chase worked his way up the ranks to engineer then eventually captain. Chase attended training with Buckskin Fire, San Bernardino County, Parker Fire and AZ State Fire School. He currently holds his EMT, Fire 1 & 2, and Haz-mat certifications and brings with him 8 years of fire industry experience.
We are very excited to have Chase as our new Fire Chief; we know he will provide the very best service to our community and can’t wait to see what else he brings to our great fire district.
